Avaya Inc. (NYSE:AV) a leading global provider
of communications networks and services for businesses, gave its annual "Alti Award" to eight of its top resellers in North America.
Empire Technologies received this award at the annual sales conference held in November 2002, meeting the company's highest criteria in sales objectives, innovation, commitment to customer service, and industry leadership
.

The "Alti" - derived from the Latin word "altus," which means "high" - distinguishes those Avaya BusinessPartners which exceed expectations set by their enterprise customers and Avaya.
This year's Alti Award winners are either a Gold or Platinum certified Avaya Business Partner - the company's two highest levels of certification.
Gold and Platinum Avaya Business Partners must meet Avaya's most rigorous criteria requirements in converged voice and data
training for their technical experts, and customer satisfaction.
