TelAgent continuously recognizes voice and data system faults and alarms, and automatically notifies the IT staff of voice and data system problems as they are developing. Each message collected from monitored systems is immediately analyzed and compared with the installation established criteria to determine if the message is a critical alarm and if the alarm should trigger automatic notification. The criteria to trigger automatic notification is fully customizable and can be based on any combination of installation-specific thresholds, specific messages, time, frequency, severity, business rules, keywords
or specific events.

Alarm and activities performed by company IT staff, Empire or the manufacturer are also logged in the
TelAgent database to provide a complete audit trail and historical activity log for later reference. If the fault, message, or alarm is critical, or has been flagged for notification, TelAgent automatically notifies administrative and operations personnel through a variety of medias which may include:

  • Audible and visual devices
  • E-mail
  • Video displays
  • Alphanumeric pagers
  • Text to Cell

TelAgent notification schemes are fully customizable to fit any operating environment, staffing arrangement, and geographical organization. Notification schemes can be based on any combination of criteria including alarm severity or priority, device, time, specific staff to be notified, or job function.
